One of my hard discs containing the majority of SWB and the original files for BE and RTJ has crashed. I am gutted!

That is disastrous! With the sheer volume of treasures you have documented here, losing any part of them is not an option. I hope you manage to retrieve the files, there are a lot of recovery programs and very capable technicians out there who can do full drive recovery when all seems lost. Good luck!
